Just installed node.js v0.6.0, so far so good!
By mistake, I installed the unstable v0.5.x and it was hell to get rid of some of the binaries. When I tried to downgrade to version 4, not all the libraries wen away, and then I had big issues with some of the npm packages. So not upgrating to v6 cleaned up everything, and the box runs great!
